And you?
Do You Like or Dislike Cleaning the Bathroom?

Dirty toilet seats. Crusted-on toothpaste in the sink. It’s not surprising that cleaning the bathroom is no one’s favorite task.

Some chores are so despised that 66% of participants admitted to making up excuses to get out of them. If it’s also your most dreaded weekly chore, these cleaning tips can improve it.

1. If you want to have a bathroom that you are proud of, you need to make sure that you are cleaning the shower regularly.
Clean it Each Time you Shower. Natural Citrus Cleaners are Great. Spray liberally around your tub and/or shower. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes to an hour, then scrub (if needed) and rinse well.
Use Small Tools to get into the Corners and Cracks.

2. Wipe the walls, windows, and/or ceiling. With a sponge or a clean rag, scrub the tile surfaces you’ve sprayed. Rinse it carefully to avoid any stripes and dry it with a clean rag.

A 50:50 vinegar and water solution is also an excellent option for cleaning walls and other surfaces.

It’s a good idea to wear rubber gloves while you’re scrubbing, to keep your hands from drying out if you’re using harsh products.

3. It’s time to clean your toilet!
To start, you’ll want to take spray cleaner and wipe down the outside of the bowl, followed by making your way inside the bowl. From there, take a toilet brush cleaner and get to scrubbing.

4. Empty the Garbage
Another essential step in cleaning your bathroom is to take out the garbage. Sure, you might have some small pieces of debris lingering at the bottom of the can — but you’ll want to make sure that it’s empty before spraying with disinfectant, waiting about a minute, and rinsing it with hot water. Not only will this keep your garbage can smelling fresh, but it will also disinfect it.

5. Finally, you’ll want to clean your sink.
To start, take some bathroom cleaner, plus a cleaning cloth, and wipe down the faucet and handles. After that step is complete, it’s time to move onto the sink basin.

6. Finishing Touches
Rinse the microfiber cloth and wring it out. Use the damp cloth to spot clean the floor, or to wipe up any hair, dust, or dirt that’s hanging around. Toss the microfiber cloth into your hamper or washer, and you’re done!
